Bread Bar Hamilton

I had dinner here and it's on Locke Street in Hamilton. The service was good but the wait for your food was so long! No wonder why there's always a line up, not for it's good food but because of their slow service and small place. And it was pricey so I expected better. I'm just one critic, you must try it for yourself and let me know...

Fully loaded fries, meat sauce and sour cream, it was bland and it was just ok.

Organic fried chicken with biscuit and slaw, the biscuit was hard as rock and the rest was just ok also. 

Homemade pizza, cheese and mozzarella, this was not bad. 

Calamari, this was the worst I've ever tasted so far! Not impressed at all. 

Brownie warmed with ice cream, this was also not bad but had better.

Apple pie sundae, also just ok, the apple in it tasted and looked like from a can.

Chicken Parmesan Swiss Chalet

Yes I finally tried the new menu at Swiss Chalet (Heartland Centre). The Chicken Parmesan was really good! The portion is thick and huge. It comes with linguini pasta with tomato sauce and two slices of garlic bread. Located at Hw10 and Courtneypark This location is modern and the other location on Winston Churchill and Battleford is more country.  Food was pretty good and variety of selections. Trial and error...let me know what you think?  Grilled Salmon with mango salsa, basmati rice and veggie.  Cajun chicken with avocado sauce, basmati rice and veggie.

The Works, the best burger!

My daughter and I went to "The Works" in St.Catherines at Ontario St and it was the best burger I've had! I had the Skater8 Burger, it had peanut butter and bacon, I love anything that has peanut butter, OMG it was awesome! The Works is now also open in Oakville. You have to eat there and let me know what you think.  And the home made cut fries are so fresh and good. Ok come on, don't you want to try it? Enjoy and have fun!
