Canyon Creek (Square One)

We had our Easter lunch here today, first time. It was just okay, I thought it had potential if they fix the small details. Service was slow, too dark, washrooms are dated, garlic mash was dry and the calamari needs better dipping sauce. But their butter is one of the best I've tasted! Overall The Keg beats Canyon Creek and I rate Canyon Creek a "6". Warm loaf and the butter so good Calamari our starter was good but the sauce needs improvement  Prime rib 12oz with garlic mash but you're only allowed one side I had the Cedar Plank Salmon with basmati rice and veggies, not bad, my salmon was over done but I asked for medium (pink inside)

Tako Sushi

Another all you can eat sushi place, it's located on Bristol and Hw10, it's called Tako Sushi! It's pretty good and price wise not bad. Give it a try but still not as good as "Wind" in St.Carherines. Seaweed salad  and Ginger side, my favorite!  Calamari Asian style, tempura veggies, Salmon mini pizza, Eggplant steamed with sauce and mixed veggies.  Grilled Salmon, Shrimp tempura, Mussels with sauce and Terriyaki Salmon. The Salmon dishes are amazing!

Becel Maple Mustard Salmon

Love this recipe from the Chatelaine Magazine. We had a BBQ on the weekend and made this, it's delicious! You need 4 of 1/4lb Salmon fillets, 1/4 cup Becel Buttery Taste melted, 1/4 cup of Pure maple syrup, 4 tsp of Dijon mustard and 1 tsp of Low sodium soy sauce. This can be cooked in the oven at 425 degrees or BBQ on cedar planks (or in foil). Mix all ingredients together then pour over the salmon in a baking dish. Bake or BBQ for 12 minutes or until salmon flakes. Serve hot with extra sauce spooned on top. Give it a try, it's so good! Enjoy...

Yellow Cup Cafe

Is located at The East Mall in Etobicoke across from the Cloverdale Mall. Love this place! It's great food, variety of selections, small place and it's so busy but well worth it. The most popular dishes are Salmon Avocado and their pancakes. A must try so check it out. Salmon Avocado Love their pancakes!  Images by Google

Quest Restaurant & Bar

Located at The Delta Hotel (Argentia Rd) on Erinmills Parkway and the 401. I took my parents there for their anniversary dinner and it was amazing!  My mother and I had the Cedar Plank Maple Glazed Salmon with asparagus and potato latke; my father had the Steak with baked potato and veggies. Very retro decor and the ambiance is quite nice.  We enjoyed it very much...give it a try and let me know what you think. Images by Google

Aria Bistro & Lounge

Located in the heart of Brampton, North of Hw10, pass Queen St. Apparently this restaurant is owned by one of the Chefs at The Elliott House Culinary School. We went there for dinner and it's not one of my top 5. The Elliott is so much better because the taste, seasoning, flavor and ambiance...awesome! Grilled NY Steak, Red Wine Glacé de Viande Pan Searred Jail Island Salmon, Citrus Cherry Salsa Raspberry Creme Brûlée Chocolate Truffle Cake

The Elliott House Restaurant (Culinary School)

It's located north of Kennedy Rd and Matheson. This place is classy, romantic and the dinner menu is delicious! One of my top five places to eat. Salmon with rice, veggie marinated in a sauce that's just delicious and home made sauce. Roasted chicken with mash potatoes, veggies, sauteed mushrooms and gravy. It's mouth watering! Steak grilled to perfection, mashed potatoes, veggies and gravy to die for!  To end the meal with an amazing dessert,  chocolate mousse cake with raspberry sauce, fresh berries and caramel flan cake with fresh berries!  Wow what a night...

The Keg Heartland Centre

One of my favorite dinner places is "The Keg".  It's great food, portions are perfect and classy atmosphere. Prime Rib with curly fried onions and baked potato, now that's a meal!  Chicken Oscar with the best belonaise sauce and garlic mash. Three Cheese Mac "to die for" Mustard and honey marinated Salmon with garlic mash potatoes and asparagus  Calamari with Jalepeno, red peppers and spicy sauce, sweet sauce!  Then for dessert the trio minis, brownie with ice cream, creme brûlée and butter tart!   Or have the best mocha, mousse cake! And on your Birthday this cake is free!  Now is your mouth watering yet?  So what are you waiting for...
