Love this recipe from the Chatelaine Magazine. We had a BBQ on the weekend and made this, it's delicious! You need 4 of 1/4lb Salmon fillets, 1/4 cup Becel Buttery Taste melted, 1/4 cup of Pure maple syrup, 4 tsp of Dijon mustard and 1 tsp of Low sodium soy sauce. This can be cooked in the oven at 425 degrees or BBQ on cedar planks (or in foil). Mix all ingredients together then pour over the salmon in a baking dish. Bake or BBQ for 12 minutes or until salmon flakes. Serve hot with extra sauce spooned on top. Give it a try, it's so good! Enjoy...

I had lunch with my daughter at the Bolton location today. The calamari wasn't bad but the chicken quisidillas was amazing! The smokey BBQ chicken meat and it's crunchy shell, so good! Calamari  Amazing Chicken Quisidillas, yummy! 

Max is from a franchise chain of Dave's Chicken and Seafood. It's located on Matheson and Mavis in Mississauga. We like it better than Popeye's. It just tastes better, the spice is just right and very juicy with a crunchy coating. Have it with their homemade biscuits, so good.  Delicious! Give it a try, come on...

I went for lunch at the Mavis location. Love Italian food. I picked out my food from the lunch menu. I had the Chicken Capellini pasta with mushrooms and cream sauce. You can add salad and garlic bread as your starter for an extra charge of $3.99. Garlic loaf was ok and the Cesar salad was not that good, it was bland.  The Chicken Pasta dish was not bad.  I would probably try this place again but order a different dish...I will give it a second chance. 

PC stands for President's Choice. One of my favorite is the Lasagna (meat or seafood). It's So delicious and very cheesy! Have it with cheesy garlic bread, if you don't want to cook, it's quick and easy. Give it a try...don't stress, don't cook tonight, enjoy!

Went to a BBQ dinner party and had these delicious full of flavor wings! I want to share the recipe with you. My daughter and I had dinner at the Mavis Matheson location. We both thought it needed more flavor and seasoning. The food was satisfactory and the decor was pretty dated. The owner needs to step up and do a Reno, much needed! The worse thing that I noticed was our cutleries were so dirty! So I complained and I was given three sets of wrapped cutleries, they were all dirty! I had to finally clean off one set myself with the water I was given! Wow what an experience, not going back for sure. One positive thing I can say is that it's cheap and you can dine for two for either $25, $30, $40 and it includes an appetizer. Tasted like frozen Calamari rings! Worse I had so far.  Breaded Shrimps with fries and coleslaw  My daughter said it was awful, tasteless. Lime Chicken with Spanish rice and salsa No taste, the rice was dry, the salsa was bland and the chicken is not bad.  Like I said trial and error...not going back

We went for lunch at the Dundas St. location in Mississauga and it's not bad. I had the Grilled Chicken and Strawberry Salad with grapes, mandarin oranges, candied pecans, red onions, feta and raspberry vinaigrette. One of my favorite white wine is by Jackson Triggs. It's a great drink especially when you eat seafood. Red wine is great when you eat red meat but I'm a fish and chicken eater.  Chardonnay is my favorite  Sauvignon Blanc is my second choice Pinot Grigio is good too  Try them all and enjoy! 

Finally found a place that serves great Eggs Benedict! Now I don't have to travel all the way to Hana's or Cosmo's in St.Catherines to enjoy this dish. This is their competitor...its so good! It's all day breakfast and really good price! Their food are delicious and big portions too. Love their French toast combo for breakfast and I had their Chicken Souvlaki platter for lunch one time, very tasty! I tried the location in Sherway Gardens on Queensway. I had the Fried Chicken and Waffles for breakfast once, it was delicious! The chicken was moist and crispy, the jalapeño waffles was a little spicy but the maple butter syrup balanced it. Fried Chicken and Waffles, jalapeño corn waffles, maple butter The Second time I had the Spanish Paella for lunch. This dish was amazing! A must try for sure. I was graving for cupcakes today to have with my Oprah's Chai Tea so I decided to buy Red Velvet flavor made by Farmers Market. It was so good! Light and not too sweet with a creme filling inside too. It's cheap and you can buy them at Loblaws or No Frills. Red Velvet Cupcakes Doesn't this look mouth watering, it was amazing! 

My daughter and I had lunch at the Mississauga location, Square One Mall. It's one of my top 5 for sure. The food was amazing! For our starter, we had the best Calamari. They mixed the sauce with lemon and that's original; it had olives, cherry tomatoes, green onions, cucumbers and baby beets. Then I had the Chicken Sandwich with Brie Cheese and Fig, side was Sweet Potato Fries! My daughter had the Chicken Mushroom Fettuccini and she said it was awesome! You be the judge and enjoy! Is located at The East Mall in Etobicoke across from the Cloverdale Mall. Love this place! It's great food, variety of selections, small place and it's so busy but well worth it. Located at The Delta Hotel (Argentia Rd) on Erinmills Parkway and the 401. I took my parents there for their anniversary dinner and it was amazing!  My mother and I had the Cedar Plank Maple Glazed Salmon with asparagus and potato latke; my father had the Steak with baked potato and veggies. Very retro decor and the ambiance is quite nice.  We enjoyed it very much...give it a try and let me know what you think. Images by Google

Located in the heart of Brampton, North of Hw10, pass Queen St. Apparently this restaurant is owned by one of the Chefs at The Elliott House Culinary School. We went there for dinner and it's not one of my top 5. The Elliott is so much better because the taste, seasoning, flavor and ambiance...awesome! If you don't want to cook, why not a take out? My husband and I love this pizza because the dough is sweet and it just tastes so much better! Give it a try...
