The Keg Heartland Centre

One of my favorite dinner places is "The Keg". It's great food, portions are perfect and classy atmosphere.

Prime Rib with curly fried onions and baked potato, now that's a meal!

Chicken Oscar with the best belonaise sauce and garlic mash.

Three Cheese Mac "to die for"

Mustard and honey marinated Salmon with garlic mash potatoes and asparagus

Calamari with Jalepeno, red peppers and spicy sauce, sweet sauce!

Then for dessert the trio minis, brownie with ice cream, creme brûlée and butter tart!

Or have the best mocha, mousse cake! And on your Birthday this cake is free! Now is your mouth watering yet? So what are you waiting for...

Chicken Parmesan Swiss Chalet

Yes I finally tried the new menu at Swiss Chalet (Heartland Centre). The Chicken Parmesan was really good! The portion is thick and huge. It comes with linguini pasta with tomato sauce and two slices of garlic bread. It's quite filling so have an appetite when you do try it. Shawarma

I love Shawarma! My daughter and her boyfriend introduced me to this and I just love the food and flavors. You can choose chicken, pork or vegetarian dishes falafel and have them with rice, salad and potatoes or pita bread. I had the chicken sandwich shawarma with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and their sauce. It's so good! Yummy...I went to the one on Derry Rd and McLaughlin.

Turtle Jack's

Located at Hw10 and Courtneypark This location is modern and the other location on Winston Churchill and Battleford is more country. Food was pretty good and variety of selections. Trial and error...let me know what you think? Grilled Salmon with mango salsa, basmati rice and veggie. Cajun chicken with avocado sauce, basmati rice and veggie.
