Demetre's Courtneypark/HW10

Craving for sweets did you say? Demetres is your answer! I had the Rusty Pelican with waffles, it was mouth watering and my daughter had the Chunky Monkey with waffles. You have a choice to have it with waffles or crepes and then we washed it down with coffeefrappé. Their dark chocolate cake is to die for! Don't worry about the calories for a day and treat yourself, enjoy it!

Chicken Parmesan Swiss Chalet

Yes I finally tried the new menu at Swiss Chalet (Heartland Centre). The Chicken Parmesan was really good! The portion is thick and huge. It comes with linguini pasta with tomato sauce and two slices of garlic bread. It's quite filling so have an appetite when you do try it. Shawarma

I love Shawarma! My daughter and her boyfriend introduced me to this and I just love the food and flavors. You can choose chicken, pork or vegetarian dishes falafel and have them with rice, salad and potatoes or pita bread. I had the chicken sandwich shawarma with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and their sauce. It's so good! Yummy...I went to the one on Derry Rd and McLaughlin.

Located at Hw10 and Courtneypark This location is modern and the other location on Winston Churchill and Battleford is more country. Food was pretty good and variety of selections. Trial and error...let me know what you think? Grilled Salmon with mango salsa, basmati rice and veggie. Cajun chicken with avocado sauce, basmati rice and veggie.
