Via Allegro Ristorante

Our office had lunch here to celebrate the boss 50th Birthday yesterday! It's a classy and expensive place but it's well worth it because the good quality and portions are awesome. This is my second time, once for dinner and I was also pleased. A must try for sure but just remember it's pricey all.

Salmon and fresh veggies, portion is huge and so good, delicious!

Stone oven fresh made pizzas, apparently this was absolutely amazing

Cesar salad with scallops and this is the heart of Romain lettuce, awesome

Penne pasta with seafood (tiger shrimps, scallops and squid) in a lovely homemade tomato sauce

Perogies

I heard the best brand of perogies are made by Supreme Perogies! So I had to try it for myself. I bought them at Starkys but you can also get them at Loblaws or No Frills. I had my own recipe to cook the perogies, it had carmelized onions and bacon, of course you have to eat with sour cream. It's an amazing dish! So good! Give it a try...

Becel Maple Mustard Salmon

Love this recipe from the Chatelaine Magazine. We had a BBQ on the weekend and made this, it's delicious! You need 4 of 1/4lb Salmon fillets, 1/4 cup Becel Buttery Taste melted, 1/4 cup of Pure maple syrup, 4 tsp of Dijon mustard and 1 tsp of Low sodium soy sauce. This can be cooked in the oven at 425 degrees or BBQ on cedar planks (or in foil). Mix all ingredients together then pour over the salmon in a baking dish. Bake or BBQ for 12 minutes or until salmon flakes. Serve hot with extra sauce spooned on top. Give it a try, it's so good! Enjoy...

We usually have the large size with five toppings, bacon, sausage, pineapple, green peppers and pepperoni. Now are you not hungry yet? Come on just order...
